I recently read an article posted on Courant.com reaffirming what people were saying about the Lipstick Indicator. Apparently lipstick sales aren’t the only indulgences that increase during a recession. Other products such as cookies, candy and other sweets, as well as eye makeup, skin care and other beauty products are on the increase.
